PRINTING FROM WEB-BASED APPLICATIONS (LEXIS+, ETC.)

OVERVIEW
Some web-based applications (such as Lexis+) do not display available network printers when you select Print. This is expected behavior due to browser security restrictions.

To print successfully, please use the following workflow:
Download → PDF → Print

WHY THIS HAPPENS
Websites accessed through a web browser cannot directly see or select printers installed on your computer or network. Because of this limitation, applications like Lexis+ require documents to be downloaded and printed locally.

RECOMMENDED PRINTING WORKFLOW

STEP 1: DOWNLOAD THE DOCUMENT AS A PDF

  1. In Lexis+ (or another web-based application), select the Download icon.
  2. The document will be prepared and saved to your Downloads folder (or your browser’s default download location).

STEP 2: OPEN THE PDF

  1. The downloaded PDF may open automatically.
  2. If it does not open, locate the downloaded PDF file and double-click it to open and review the contents.

STEP 3: PRINT THE PDF

  1. Select File → Print or press Ctrl + P.
  2. Choose your desired network printer.
  3. Click Print.

Your available network printers should now appear.
